Think twice before downloading any video on Facebook, and don’t use downloaded videos for commercial purposes. The practice may land you in legal trouble for using copyrighted content without the owner’s consent.

Regrettably, there’s no official method to get videos from Facebook as you can with services like YouTube Premium or Netflix. You might have noticed the “Save video” button, but it just puts the video in a list for later, like a favorites list, so you can watch it again on the app or website.

Fortunately, you can save Facebook videos on both your computer and phone. Just make sure the video you’re saving doesn’t have any copyright restrictions. It’s important to check before downloading to avoid any problems.
